What sized units are available ? +

We offer 10 different sizes of units (from 1.5m x 2.4m up to 3.6m x 9.1m). We have drive through units, and we also offer outdoor parking for your caravan, boat or RV. Learn more

How do I book a unit ? +

What items are not able to be stored ? +

Food or perishable goods unless securely packed so that they are protected from and do not attract vermin.

Birds, fish, animals or any other living creatures.

Combustible or flammable materials or liquids such as gas, petrol, oil, paint or cleaning solvents.

Firearms, explosives, weapons or ammunition.

Toxic waste, asbestos or other materials of a potentially dangerous nature.

Any items which emits any fumes, smell or odour.

Any illegal substances, illegal items or goods illegally obtained.

Compressed gases.

What security is on site ? +

Security of your property whilst at Waimate Self Storage is paramount.

The facility is surrounded by security fencing. We have invested in gate automation for site security and controlled access to the site.

All access in and out of the site is logged to our system which we can remotely monitor. In addition to this, the site is also protected by an Ultra High Definition CCTV system which we also can remotely monitor and review.

We take security of your and our property seriously!

Do you offer insurance cover ? +

Adequate insurance cover of your possessions whilst on site is your responsibility.

How do I access my unit? +

Access is by individual pin code.
Accessible 7 days a week in daylight hours.

Unit restrictions ? +

You must not use the unit or do anything on the site or in the unit which may be a nuisance to us or the users of any other unit or any person on the site.

You must not use the unit as offices or living accommodation or as a home or business address and not use the address of the site or the unit for receiving or sending mail.

You must not spray paint or do any mechanical work of any kind inside of the unit.

You must not attach anything to the internal or external surfaces of the unit or make any alterations to the unit.

You must not allow any liquid, substance, smell or odour to escape from the unit or any noise to be audible or vibration to be felt outside the unit.

Adequate insurance cover of your possessions whilst on site is your responsibility.

Children must be supervised at all times

No smoking on site
